Woke up to a great breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast. Great way to start the day. We headed to Mesilla to hit the Post Office, then were back on the road around 9:30. It was a beautiful day with not too much wind. We had knocked out 45 miles by lunchtime. After lunch, the riding was a bit slower. We started to slowly gain elevation, and had a headwind. There was some great scenery all day.
